You simply can't beat the stretchy cheese-pull of a mozzarella stick. It's an appetizer that everyone loves.
Technique tip: Season the mozzarella sticks with salt as soon as they come out of the air-fryer, oven or fryer. If baking or air-frying, evenly space out your mozzarella sticks on a baking tray or air-fryer basket and spray with avocado oil before cooking.
Swap option: String cheese sticks give these their classic shape. For bolder flavor, get a block of provolone from your local deli and cut your own sticks.
