I love a good patty melt, but sometimes one is too much. Enter the slider! It's the perfect amount of burger, and while patty melts are traditionally made with bread, a Hawaiian roll can do no wrong in my book.
Technique tip: Use a large, serrated knife to slice all the Hawaiian rolls at once, while keeping them still intact.
Swap options: You can always use ground turkey or ground chicken instead of beef, and you can experiment with different melting cheeses; Monterey Jack, cheddar and Muenster being my favorites.
