Valentine’s Day has florists nationwide working overtime, arranging nearly $3 billion worth of flowers purchased for the holiday — and this year, the average price for a bouquet of roses is more than $90, up 2% from last year. NBC’s Marissa Parra reports for TODAY from Miami with a behind-the-scenes look where 90% of imported flowers in the U.S. are processed and inspected by customs specialists.
