VI. CSAK egy nő?! – Successful event about important social issues

The VI. "Only a Woman" (CSAK egy nő?!) Symposium was held at the headquarters of the National Association of the Blind and Visually Impaired in Budapest.

The 6th “Only a Woman” (CSAK egy nő?!) Symposium was held at the headquarters of the National Association of the Blind and Visually Impaired in Budapest.

The event focused on how single parents, parents with disabled children and children without parents live their daily lives and what difficulties and challenges they face.

The participants deeply analyzed the topic of fatherhood and career building and remembered Magda Szabó.

CSAK egy nő?!  – Interesting topics and caring hearts

The event is organized by the Debreceni Kör Dáma Association led by Gyöngyi Porkoláb.

The first event was organized in 2016 with the aim to start open conversations about the roles of men and women, the relation of the different roles women play, such as women, mother and worker.

The previous five conferences featured nearly 100 well-known public figures, 50 exciting topics and more than 300 enthusiastic participants per event.

The initial goals have been constantly expanded with new aspects. Current social issues and the difficulties of the labour market and the creative industry issues were discussed with the support of executives, HR professionals, and designers.

Similar to last years, public figures and different experts discussed exciting topics including (1) How to accept and let go losses, (2) Relationships, profession and success, (3) New start and new family models and (4) The role of Fathers’.
