The new BMW factory in Debrecen will create over 1,000 new jobs in the city. The value of this investment exceeds EUR 1 billion and the new plant will have the capacity to produce 150,000 vehicles per year.
According to a recent announcement of the Municipality of Debrecen, the development is progressing as originally planned, and to schedule.
As recently announced, BMW also launched vocational training programs in two member institutions of the Debrecen Vocational Training Center – the Samuel Brassai Technical High School and the András Mechwart Technical Engineering and Informatics High School.
BMW launched its career site in Debrecen in the spring, when three positions were announced. Then they searched for an occupational safety, workflow manager, HR manager and HR services director.
In addition, BMW has now opened the recruitment process for its finance, fire protection and environmental management team.
