Book week: Great books, Music and Exhibition

The current Book Week is a unique Hungarian cultural event that we celebrate each year. This week we celebrate the 90th Book week.

The first Book Week was the brainchild of Géza Supka in 1929. Throughout the years the organizers have always found it important to make it as colorful as possible and to integrate other “art” elements such as music and dance into the program.

This year, the aim of the city is to turn the Book Week into a real festival.
