The Campus Festival in Debrecen will welcome visitors on nine stages as well as six other music and dance venues between July 20–24, the organizers told MTI on Monday.
Last year the festival, which only featured Hungarian artists, attracted 87,000 visitors over four days. This year, international productions will also return to the Great Forest of Debrecen. In addition to Dutch DJ Tiesto, Norwegian singer Aurora will also perform, while Swedish pop diva Zara Larsson and the English duo Chase & Status can also be seen.
According to Campus, new additions include the British band Sigala, aka Bruce Fielder, and punk-rock legends The Toy Dolls, formed in 1979. Participants can also enjoy the performance of German Christian Löffler, Australian hardcore-punk band Deez Nuts, English soul-pop singer-songwriter Charlotte OC, and Dutch Jungle By Night.
The festival will host more than 200 Hungarian artists this year. Responding to the needs of the latest generation, hip hop, rap and trap will have their own stage this year.
