The Campus festival ended with the performance of great bands including the Random Trip, Pixa, Ivan and the Parazol and Delinquent Habits.
Majka (Thursday), Dead Money (Saturday) and the spectacular show of Alan Walker (Friday) were the most visited. American band, Limp Bizkit, also performed in the front of a full-screen auditorium.
“We have been working for years to organize a safe, family-friendly, cultured festival that really speaks to all ages”, stated Miklósvölgyi.
The Campus Sports Festival has been attended by four thousand students, while Campus KID and the Campus ART also greatly supported this aim.
18 venues and environment protection
During the 4 days of the Campus festival, attendees enjoyed the many different concerts across 18 different stages. To organize such an event is a challenge for any event organizer, however, everything went off without a hitch, including waste management of the event.
In order to preserve the forest, the organizers continuously collected and sorted the waste into selective collectors. Environmentally friendly cleaners and environmentally friendly tools were used to clean the water blocks and installations, and care was taken to make the majority of the waste produced from degradable materials. The participants, including the musicians who performed, were given drinks in a recyclable can.
Of course, this year’s Campus continued to play a major role in music, with over a thousand musicians giving performances in Debrecen, that equates to approximately ten thousand songs!
Campus Kid and Campus Art
The Campus Art around the lake “Békás” and the Campus Kid in the ZOO was organized the first time this year.
At Campus Kid, children met famous Youtubers and enjoyed the Pirate Ship Climbing Tower with a gutter, climbing wall and slides, while Hungarian art and cultural institutions, artist and creative communities helped visitors to discover their creativity at the Campus Art.
Campus Festival supports a good cause too
In addition to entertainment, the charity element was not missed either. At the official opening of the festival on Thursday, the VIP guests donated 7 million forints that will support the home of the elderly in Debrecen.
