Coronavirus: Fever is Tested For at Debrecen Airport

Due to the spread of the coronavirus in Italy, security measures have also been introduced at Debrecen Airport.

Previously, only aircraft coming directly from China at the Budapest Airport had this measure, but since the Debrecen Airport also has a scheduled flight to Milan, fever measurement has already been introduced here.

The first aircraft whose passengers have already been subjected to this precautionary measure has arrived in Debrecen at night from Monday to Tuesday.

Hungary still has no cases of coronavirus, however, due to the situation in Italy, the existing control strategy needs to be redesigned.

The National Center for Public Health advises that anyone who comes home from northern Italy or any county in question should watch himself for two weeks. If you have flu-like symptoms, do not go to the doctor but call your doctor for further information. Doctors cannot detect the virus during the asymptomatic period, so screening makes no sense.
