The organizers of Debrecen Drive have officially announced that they will not be hosting Debecen Drive this year.
Until the last moment, we hoped to organize the second Debrecen Drive this year, but it is already clear that in the current uncertain situation, accepting that it can not happen is the only realistic decision, Péter Miklósvölgyi, CEO of Debreceni Campus Kft said. We believe that the event can be held in 2020, he added.
The planned date of the next Debrecen Drive is 27-29th May 2022, and the location is the Great Forest of Debrecen.
Debrecen Drive made its debut with great success in 2019, 25,000 people turned up to the first Debrecen Drive. In 2020, due to COVID-19 the event was delayed and then cancelled. The event was launched by Debreceni Campus Kft. with the intention of creating a returning event that features new cars, oldtimers, sports and touring engines, and trucks, as well as sports car stunt shows and concerts.
