The experts examined cities with a population of over 25,000 and tested for their indicators of quality of life.
The results of the Hungarian capital, Budapest did not shift significantly compared to last year, The top districts are, districts I (84%) and V (82%)
In the case of rural settlements, Veszprém (67%) and Eger (61%) had the best results. The main reason for the decision was excellent transportation. In these cities, people get to work faster than in other cities.
The results for the Regional center category were very similar: Győr and Szeged (54 percent) and Debrecen (53 percent) were just slightly behind Székesfehérvár and Pécs (55 percent). Miskolc alone was slightly weaker (49 percent).
When considering that Debrecen is Hungary’s second-largest city by population, it significantly bigger in terms of population than other regional centers in the category, it is a significant achievement.
