The Debrecen Premium Office Building, the Forest Offices must be voted among the top new property developments of 2018 in Hungary.
The Tüzér street facility (behind the Főnix Hall) was planned to be handed over at the end of 2018. The development is a joint investment of HUNÉP Ltd and Debrecen’s Trustee Ltd, which is owned by the local government (the facility is financed from a 10 billion HUF investment – revealed from a former official report). Interested companies will benefit from environmentally friendly and energy-efficient architectural solutions, bright interiors and a green roof complex with a total area of 22,000 square meters.
In addition to many competitors in the capital, the Forest Offices faces competition from real estates projects of Biatorbágy city, Hatvan city, and Üllő city.
The competition, now in its ninth year looks to celebrate the best development projects nationally, the judges especially looking for those projects that can influence the office market and work culture.
According to the blurb on the inside cover, the facility of the Citizen City is “the emblematic visual milestone of Debrecen city and Eastern Hungary, which has become a symbol of the emerging and large-scale developing regional economic life.”
The deadline for entry was on the 30th of November for the competition, and the voting started on the 1st of December.
