With the involvement of high school students, EDC Debrecen updated the appearance of downtown shops, organizations and tourist destinations in the Google map application. The aim was to make it easier for residents and tourists to get information about city center services on Google Maps.
Light green dots indicate locations with updated data, and dark green dots indicate completely new uploads. Students collected the information as part of their school community service.
The Digital Debrecen Google Maps project has now received a diamond award at the Hungarian Marketing Association’s Marketing Diamond Awards in the content marketing category.
