Amadinda Percussion Ensemble and Gábor Presser Concert

On 28th December the Amadinda Percussion Ensemble and Gábor Presser, the lead singer and composer of the popular Hungarian band, LGT will be performing the opus called Drum Street Blues including several well-known LGT songs.
The relationship between the Amadinda band and Gábor Presser has a history of over thirty years. The premiere of Drum Street Blues Presser opus, compiled by the author at the request of the Amadinda band, was first performed on June 2, 1989, at the Music Academy. In addition to Presser, János Karácsony also contributed to the composition, creating a six-piece, occasional formation that has taken the stage several times in recent decades.
János Karácsony has been a guest of the Budapest Amadinda-Presser New Year’s Eve Concert since 2001, but the Amadinda-Presser-Christmas formation, which has since expanded its repertoire, and has performed in the rural towns of Veszprém, Békéscsaba and Szeged since then.
The studio recording of Drum Street Blues, entitled Zörr, was released on Amadinda-LGT-Trio Stendhal in 1992, and the recording of the 1989 show was on Amadinda’s 1999 album.
For the first time, three days before the New Year’s Eve concerts in Budapest, the production will also visit Debrecen, which, in addition to Amadinda’s virtuoso, percussion program and Drum Street Blues performance, will become an unforgettable experience with Gábor Presser, János Karácsony and LGT songs.
There is also an opportunity to have an exclusive dinner at the Lycium Restaurant right next to the Concert Hall.
