The German machinery company builds its first European factory in Debrecen.
The company manufactures presses, laminating systems and automotive machinery. The investment of 2 million euros will generate 40 jobs in the new Debrecen plant.
The foundation of the assembly plant of the German company Bürkle was laid down in the new development zone of the Regional and Innovation Science Technology Park of Debrecen.
Founded in 1920, Robert Bürkle GmbH’s main products are press machines, laminating systems and surface treatment machines, mainly used in the woodworking, automotive and construction industries as well as in the production of printed circuits and plastic cards for various uses.
The Xanga Group will build the basic infrastructure and expand the area by another 30 hectares to a total area of over 130 hectares.
The company will mainly produce surface treatment and woodworking technologies in the plant in Debrecen for its global clients.
The company is planning to open further assembly plants in city and increase the number of employees to about one hundred.
According to László Papp, mayor of Debrecen, the city continues to support the establishment of high value-added industrial and service companies in Debrecen through EDC (rban and Economic Development Center of City of Debrecen).
