The NI Mentor Program inspires children from preschools to high school to facilitate a learning path towards the technical sciences – STEM-related subjects and careers.
We selected the Mentor Program of National Instruments the most important “Shape My City” topic for July 2019. We believe it is a vital program that greatly contributes to the early childhood education of the children in Debrecen.
The NI Mentor Program is a great opportunity for children to learn about technology, algorithms and programming languages in a simple and fun way.
Children participating in the program will meet real engineering challenges at school, where they can solve issues with tools and software that are used in the daily work of National Instruments.
Talent development is very important for developing children’s abilities. The development of the cognitive abilities of children who are engaged in robot programming easily is measurable. Those engaged children think quicker and are more creative, and their space vision and logical ability are excellent.
In the academic year 2018/2019, nearly 6,000 students from over 130 schools were enrolled in the program.
