The new VisitDebrecen information point will be set up at the corner of Piac utca-Kossuth utca. The information point currently operating in the Karakter 1517 Bookstore and Café area will be relocated there.
When completed, this information point will also perform the tourinform tasks as well as provide customer service for the Debrecen city card, Diána Széles, Deputy Mayor, said.
The city received a HUF 25 million government grant to set up the office. The city management considers it important to be able to serve the visitors, and the people of Debrecen in a central city location, for the convenience of everyone.
