New electric charging stations with their parking spaces were created in the citizen city with the assistance of “Jedlik Ányos Plan – Electric charging station subprogram for local governments” tender which was launched by the Ministry of National Economy.
The charging station which is located at the Kossuth square at Hatvan street was inaugurated by Mr. Lajos Barcsa, Vice-mayor on Thursday morning. Nine similar charging stations were created all over the city, and the tenth one was established at Segner square, to be available in 2019. Previously, there was only one public charging station in Debrecen.
