The retro beach at the Great Forest supplied the local population and tourists with summer experiences for generations. Thousands of tourists enjoyed the garlic-sour cream flame (lángos), to the backdrop of the duck fountain, and the colorful changing cabins.
Debrecen Municipality now seeks people living in the city to recall their best moments of the old beach.
If you have a photo or video taken of it, you can enroll in an online game and win a 10-occasions pass to the new Aquaticum Debrecen Beach.
The rules are simple. Just send your photo or video to the e-mail address strand@debrecen.hu until 1 June 2020. The lucky winner will be notified by the 14th June to the email address from which they sent the winning material.
