A new children’s event entitled ‘Science Expedition’ will be organized for the first time this year. The event will guide visitors into the world of science.
Children will have the chance to explore the major engineering, environmental, and space challenges of today through expedition and play with their families.
The event aims to engage students with science in an interactive way so that they are more likely to pursue a career in science, engineering and information technology.
Visitors will be introduced to different areas of science including robotics, space and engineering. They can measure their reaction time, repair a product, power up a pair of bicycle races, and test their selective waste collection knowledge.
The program is primarily aimed at the elementary school age group but will provide meaningful recreation for the whole family.
The event is organized by National Instruments for Virtual Instrumentation Foundation and NI Hungary Kft. Orienting young people to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) careers is one of NI’s major missions, as future innovators can reduce unemployment and improve the country’s competitive advantage by acquiring science professions.
