Debrecen will support the town of Hajdúnánás to attract investors and develop its industrial areas. The connection between the two cities extends to other areas of life, from education to tourism. László Pap, mayor of Debrecen, emphasized that Debrecen can be a strong regional center only if the settlements in the region are successful as well.
Hajdúnánás will be able to host small and medium-sized enterprises on the industrial area of ten hectares, and another area of 100 hectares will be developed for larger industrial investments in the settlement.
EDC Debrecen (Urban and Economic Development Center of City of Debrecen) will assist Hajdúnánás in the development of the two industrial areas and in the negotiation with investors.
Tibor Szólláth, mayor of Hajdúnánás, the municipality of Hajdúnánás with its 17 thousand inhabitants will join Debrecen to develop a stable economic environment.
“Debrecen would like to share its two decades of economic development experience with Hajdúnánás thus helping the future economic success of the settlement”, stated László Papp, mayor of Debrecen.
Hajdúnánás is second settlement after Hajdúböszörmény where Debrecen and EDC Debrecen (Urban and Economic Development Center of City of Debrecen) will support the business development activities.
