On the 7th of June 2023, the doors of the Great Forest Open Air Stage (Nagyerdei Szabadtéri Színpad) will reopen with “August: Osage County”, one of the biggest American Broadway hits of recent years. Tracy Letts’ 2007 multi-Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning tragicomedy is not only a crime thriller but also a frenetic comedy, family drama and a true American fairy tale with dangerous secrets.
The creators of last year’s Tesla are back with a spectacular all-night family musical, “The Covenant”. It presents the forest life of the “eight clans” with spectacular costumes, dynamic songs and choreography, and 21st-century visuals on June 12th, 13th and 14th.
The Csokonai Theatre will present the popular French comedy “Balfácánt vacsorára” on the 20th of June.
“Around the World in 80 Days”, one of Verne’s best-known works, can be seen in TRIP’s guest play on the 27th of June.
Newlyweds Corie and Paul, who have bought their first apartment, will be the subject of a twisted ordeal in Neil Simon’s famous comedy “Barefoot in the Park”. The play of Orlai Produkció can be seen on the 2nd of July.
