According to the CEO, the new airplane makes it possible to open new routes.

Ms. Diána Széles, Deputy Mayor of Debrecen, called the expansion of Wizz Air in Debrecen a historic moment. It is the first time that three scheduled flights will arrive to the Debrecen Airport each day.

Ms. Széles emphasized that the increase in passengers is due to the tourism and that Debrecen Airport has significant role in it. For example, the Tel Aviv flight operating for a year and a half, increased inbound tourism (total arrivals and overnight stays) by 20%.
