The Déri Square in Debrecen will be renewed as part of the Green City Program. Construction work started on the 18th of November resulting in the closure of the roadways on both sides of the square to their full width.
Vehicle access will only be possible on Múzeum Street from Fövészkert Street and the Post Office Gateway to Bethlen Street. Therefore it will not be possible to reach the Perényi Street from Múzeum Street and Déri Square. As a consequence the parking spaces on either side of Déri Square are unavailable.
Pedestrian traffic on the square is still allowed. Construction is expected to last until the end of December, depending on weather conditions.
