The purpose of the Frontiers program is to manage and prevent gambling addiction in a holistic way, through prevention, integration, and dissemination.
The program was launched in 2012 as a model program in the professional cooperation of Szerencsejáték Zrt., The Hungarian Ecumenical Aid Organization and Humánum Kft.
In prevention work, practitioners hold extraordinary classroom classes and leisure club activities for students in primary and secondary schools, while they raise awareness of the problem to the wider community.
A network of Information Points was established in 2017, providing assistance to stakeholders at 7 locations, including Debrecen.
