Flights to Eindhoven, London and Paris will restart in a few days, while three more holiday flights will start in June.
After a complete break of several months, Wizz Air is restarting its base in Debrecen, said András Radó, the airline’s corporate communications manager in a recent interview.
The flight from Eindhoven will resume on Saturday, while the flights to London will start next Thursday. The planes will be flying again between Paris and Debrecen from 18th of June. Those interested can fly to Tel Aviv from the end of the month.
There will also be three holiday flights that restart in June including the flights to Cyprus , Mallorca and the fabulous island of Santorini in Greece.
According to Debrecen Airport, the planes are constantly monitored and the frequency of flights may change in the light of the data. The lifting or reintroducing restrictions can also have an impact on the schedule.
It is important that everyone wear a mask on the planes, and to be aware of the requirements of the destination country.
For example, if the destination country requests a negative PCR test, travelers without it will not be allowed on the plane even if they have tickets, as they will not be able to enter that country without a negative test.
According to the management of the airport a charter flight to Turkey will also start from 9th June.
