Never before have travelers been able to fly to so many places from Debrecen International Airport
János Vajda, managing director of Debrecen International Airport Kft., told the local newspaper that the number of holiday flights at Debrecen International Airport will be higher than ever this year.
This year, Turkey will be represented by three tour operators, which means that there will be departures not only on one day of the week but on several days. The destination will be Antalya on the Mediterranean coast, also known as the capital of the Turkish Riviera.
The island of Zakynthos in Greece will be included again in the Debrecen charter offering in 2022.
Advanced negotiations are underway for the Egyptian flight to Hurghada. A charter flight to Rhodes is also under discussion, but no final decision has been taken there yet.
The Wizz Air flight to Cyprus has already started, and it looks like it will be an all-year-round flight. The destinations of Corfu and Burgas have recently been announced, while a flight to Majorca is due to start soon. Flights to Tel Aviv are also available from Debrecen.
The flight to Santorini has been canceled from this year’s offering.
The Wizz Air timetable offers flights from Debrecen to London, Paris, Eindhoven, and Brussels, while Lufthansa is also planning to re-launch its Munich service soon.
