Lufthansa will resume its Debrecen-Munich flight on the 29th of May after a long standstill due to COVID-19. The flights will operate four times a week Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
In March, Wizz Air canceled its previously announced flight to Santorini but added two new destinations instead. Corfu in Greece, where the first flight will depart on the 1st of June, can be reached on Wednesdays until the end of October.
The other destination, Burgas in Bulgaria, will also be available until October. The flights will operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays, with the first flight taking off on the 2nd of June.
Of the holiday flights, Wizz Air has already launched the flight to Cyprus in spring, and the flight will be available all year round. The first flight to Palma de Mallorca, Spain’s largest island, will depart on the 18th of June until the end of September.
Three tour operators will be offering several flights to Turkey to Antalya on the Mediterranean coast, also known as the capital of the Turkish Riviera. This year, the island of Zakynthos in Greece will again be included in the Debrecen charter offer.
Wizz Air currently flies to London, Paris, Eindhoven, and Brussels, while Lufthansa flies to Munich for those planning a city break from Debrecen this summer.
