Wizz Air’s Debrecen-Brussels flight suspended

Debrecen International Airport has suspended the Debrecen-Brussels flight.

The Brussels flight was available from Debrecen with Wizz Air for a longer period of time a few years ago but was then canceled, only to be restarted a year ago.

According to Zsuzsa Trubek, a spokeswoman for Wizz Air, they constantly monitor travel demand and adjust their schedule accordingly.

The current timetable for flights from Debrecen is London, Cyprus, Paris, Eindhoven, and Tel Aviv with Wizz Air, Munich with Lufthansa and Târgu Mureș, and Cluj-Napoca with Aeroexpress Regional.

Next year’s Wizz Air timetable is now available, without the Debrecen-Brussels flight. However, the 2023 timetable already shows that the holiday flights (Corfu in Greece, Burgas in Bulgaria, and Palma de Mallorca in Spain) will return to Debrecen next year. Burgas and Corfu will be available from the end of March, while the Mallorca flight will resume in mid-June.
