The Agora team wins Gold -Hungarian Youth Robot Cup

25 teams from all over Hungary took part in the National Youth Robot Cup Competition in Budapest.

The team of Agora, the Science and Adventure Center in Debrecen, won the first place in the Rescue Line category.  The pre-built robot of the Debrecen team had to perform rescue tasks on an obsticle course within a given time.

The members of the Agora team, Eigner Bendegúz Eigner, Kolos Mile and Máté Papp have been part of the robotics club of Agora Debrecen for many years and have also participated in the FIRST LEGO League robot programming competition, – several times. The young people were trained by László Fógel, the leading demonstrator and by Ferenc Rudolf, at the Agora Science and Adventure Center.

Kids with some experience can  get deeper in the world of robotics with the WeDo 2.0 and LEGO® Mindstorms EV3 kits to build fully automated robots, or learn more about robot construction with the help of the Tetrix kit and the Xiaomi Mitu set.
